The City of Farmington is looking to fill a vacancy on the Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors.
 
The Farmington Downtown Development Authority (DDA) meets the first Wednesday of every month at 8 a.m. The DDA supports business development, encourages historic preservation, and promotes economic growth. In Farmington, the DDA spearheaded projects such as Dinan Park, the Syndicate and Grand Raven Festival. Board members serve a 4-year term; the vacant term expires on Feb. 28, 2028.
 
This vacancy is left by Board Member Chris Halas, who decided to not seek reappointment. He is a past recipient of the Main Street Oakland County Volunteer of the Year Award, and Farmington’s Mary Martin Service Award, which is given annually to a volunteer who exhibited outstanding service and dedication to Downtown Farmington's Main Street Program. We are grateful for Chris in all that he’s done and continues to do for the City of Farmington with his talent and enthusiasm.
