Flanders Road Closure (Between Robinwood Street and Laurelwood Street)
Tuesday, July 21, 2015 Thru Monday July 27, 2015
The Contractor working on the Riverwalk of Farmington development located at the Flanders School site will placing concrete over the water main crossing on Flanders Rd. on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 (weather permitting). As a result, Flanders Rd. between Robinwood St. and Laurelwood St. will be closed from Tuesday, July 21st thru Monday, July 27th, (weather permitting).
The temporary aggregate that was placed to maintain traffic will be removed and new concrete will be placed. This operation will only take one day. However, the newly placed concrete cannot be driven on until it has reached sufficient strength. This can take up to 6-7 days, depending on the weather and other factors.
