Traffic and Safety Board

The Traffic and Safety Board was established by the City Council to review complaints regarding traffic flow, speed limits, signalization, signage, and parking. The Traffic and Safety Board is committed to the safe and efficient flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic within the City. Items that come before the Traffic and Safety Board are usually initiated by a complaint/concern from a resident or business owner, City Council’s request to evaluate traffic or parking issue, or by members monitoring traffic developments. As part of their review and consideration, the Traffic and Safety Board may recommend to the City Council actions to address the issue such as issuing a Traffic Control Order to remedy the problem or improve a specific traffic concern.

The Traffic and Safety Board is comprised of five members and regularly meets on the third Thursday of each month.
