The Farmington Civic Theater is an icon in our community that helps fuel the economy and drives business into the city.
The theater has been around since 1940. While there have been some changes, the small-town feel and friendly atmosphere continues to be the magnet that attracts movie-goers. The Farmington Civic Theater is not just a place to see a movie. It's a comfortable, social venue that brings people back time after time. We don't want to brag, but we've been told that our popcorn is the best around.

Shopping locally is a growing trend and many find combining dinner in town along with a show at the Civic is a relaxing way to spend an evening. Farmington has many great eating spots that fit any palate.

Stop by during regular operating hours and pick up some gift cards. They're a great way to say thank you. They also are welcome stocking stuffers, birthday presents and awards. Your business may even want to hand them out as a value-added gift with purchase.
Renting the FCT is Popular
The theater has been rented for various occasions. It's an ideal spot for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, niche movies and school projects. We've also rented for special musical and comedy performances.
