The Paisley Fogg Rocks Rhythmz in Riley Park on June 10
Release date: 6/1/2016
Great sounds of the British Invasion, the psychedelic sixties and toe-tapping folk rock music. The Paisley Fogg will kick off the vibrant Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series on Friday, June 10 in Downtown Farmington at 7:00PM, presented by St. Joe’s Medical Group.
“We are starting off with The Paisley Fogg, one of Riley Park’s all-time favorites,” said Tom Birchler, producer of the 2016 Rhythmz concert series. “Their take on sixties rock n’ roll has the perfect vibe to launch this year’s concert series. They are Michigan’s most authentic sixties rock band. They have band members who have performed on stage at the fabled Grande Ballroom and played lead guitar with Motown’s Rare Earth. They perform with the actual instruments and amplifiers that were used when these songs were recorded to capture the sound and the feel of the greatest era rock has ever known. Their members have seen the Beatles and The Rolling Stones on their very first tours of America. How many people can say they saw The Who perform live at Southfield High School? They don’t just play this music, they lived it,” Birchler shared.
This concert is sponsored by Farmington Insurance Agency.
Grab some dinner for your family and friends at one of the many welcoming downtown restaurants before or after the concert, or take your food to Riley Park and have a picnic in ‘Woodstock’ fashion.
