RRRASOC Announces New App
Release date: 2/18/2016
The Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC) released “The Recycling Directory” to make it easier for residents of its nine member communities to learn how to properly handle their unwanted materials. Typing keywords into the “Recycling Directory” provides users with RRRASOC specific information and tips on recycling, composting, reuse or disposal.
“We want to make it easy for our residents to know what to do with their unwanted items,” said Mike Csapo, RRRASOC General Manager, “so we’re making this searchable Recycling Directory available from the RRRASOC website and as a mobile app. With these new tools residents have around the clock access to information on how to recycle, compost, reuse and manage household waste.”
The Recycling Directory is prominently located on the homepage of the RRRASOC website, www.rrrasoc.org and is available as a free mobile smartphone app, for both Android and Apple platforms. The mobile app is a new and different way to reach residents and is customized for the “Recycling Authority” with a home page providing program information including links directly to member community websites.
To add the app to devices, search for “Recycling Authority” from the App Store or Google Play. The app can also be accessed by using the direct links provided below.
